Medpace is growing rapidly, and we are currently seeking a full-time, office-based SDET to join our Information Technology (IT) team in our Mumbai office. The SDET position is a vital role whose success relies upon your knowledge, experience, and dedication. The Medpace IT department delivers software solutions that enable and empower both internal and external customers to manage their business processes most effectively and efficiently. Our SDETs ensure these custom solutions are designed, built, and implemented correctly.

Responsibilities

  • Create new and maintain existing test automation code with a high degree of quality;
  • Promote best practices in code health, testability, and maintainability;
  • Work with members of the development and validation teams to determine the best areas of the applicaton to automate;
  • Implement automation regression suites;
  • Perform exploratory testing when needed; and
  • Identify, document, and track bugs to resolution.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field;
  • 2 + years experience in automation testing;
  • Experience with black and white box testing;
  • Experience with automation platforms like Selenium or Cypress;
  • Experience with programming languages such as Java or JavaScript;
  • Experience in testing web applications and APIs; and
  • Strong analytical, organizational, time management, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
