QA Engineer | Remote - Full Time

We seek a passionate QA Engineer with robust manual testing expertise and a solid grasp of automation fundamentals. The successful candidate will collaborate within an Agile team, ensuring stellar quality across web and backend systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute functional, regression, integration, and system testing for web and backend applications
• Develop and maintain detailed test scenarios and cases (based on user stories and business requirements); perform manual execution and defect reporting via Jira or Azure DevOps
• Assist in automation script execution and contribute to new script development (Selenium/Playwright or similar)
• Perform API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) and collaborate cross-functionally
• Maintain test documentation, including plans, reports, and metrics
• Report, track, and resolve bugs; verify fixes
• Support regression testing for deployments/releases

Required Skills

• Strong grasp of QA methodologies, STLC, and defect lifecycle
• Proficiency in manual testing concepts, test planning, and documentation; basic automation exposure (Selenium/Playwright)
• API testing experience (Postman/REST Assured)
• Basic CI/CD understanding (Jenkins preferred)
• SQL/database testing knowledge
• Effective communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently in fast-paced Agile settings
• Oracle EBS/ERP testing experience (a plus)

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Git/version control systems
• Cloud testing environment exposure
• Performance testing basics (JMeter)
