Role Summary

Unison Consulting is seeking a skilled QA professional with expertise in Life Asia or Life/400 insurance systems. This role involves manual and automated testing, test planning, defect tracking, and active collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure software quality in insurance-based applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for manual and automated testing.
• Perform functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Analyze and report software defects, identify root causes, and document issues.
• Work closely with developers and business analysts to understand requirements and validate quality.
• Utilize test management tools like Jira, Zephyr, or TestRail for tracking.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
• Contribute to process improvement and testing strategy enhancement.
• Mentor junior QA team members as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in software testing (manual and automation).
• Strong experience with Life Asia or Life/400 systems (mandatory).
• Proficiency with automation tools (Selenium, QTP, etc.).
• Knowledge of Java, Python, or JavaScript for scripting.
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Expertise in SDLC, testing methodologies, and defect lifecycle management.
