About The Role SOFTWARE QUALITY ASSURANCE ENGINEER

Position Purpose

Drive automated testing practices and quality outcomes across Advantive product teams within an AI-assisted delivery environment. Responsibilities span test design and execution, automation framework ownership, large-scale test suite development, and uplifting QA capability across the portfolio.

Key Accountabilities

  • Review and accept requirements; design testing to verify software compliance against defined acceptance criteria.
  • Build,maintain, and scalelarge automatedregression and integration test suites using modern frameworks (Playwright,FlaUI).
  • Provide clear pass/fail delivery confidence at any point during executionphases;report defects with actionable data.
  • Leverage AI-assisted tooling (Windsurf, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) to accelerate test authoring, coverage analysis, and code generation.
  • Lead knowledge transfer sessions on automation frameworks, AI tooling, and testing standards; mentor QA team members.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Technical Leads, and Software Engineers to embed quality throughout the SDLC.

Typical Experience

  • 4+ years as a QA Engineer in Agile/Scrum delivery teams.
  • 3+ years hands-on test automation — building andmaintaininglarge-scale automated test suites.
  • Demonstrated use of AI-assisted development tooling (Windsurf, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) for test authoring and suite maintenance.
  • Proven ability to set up, scale, and govern automation frameworks across teams.
  • Experience training and mentoring engineers in QA practices

Technical Skills

Skill Area

Automation Frameworks

Playwright (web) and/orFlaUI(Windows desktop)required; Cucumber for BDD.

Programming Language C#proficiencyrequired.

Test Suite Development

Demonstrated design, build, and scaling of large regression and automated test suites.

AI-Assisted Tooling

Active use required. Windsurf or equivalent IDE AI strongly preferred; Claude Code and/or GitHub Copilot advantageous

DevOps & WorkMgmt

Azure DevOps (ADO) for pipeline integration, test planning, and work tracking. Jiraconsidered.

API &Non-Functional

Strong REST API testing; experience in performance or security testingdesirable.

Agile Methodologies

Solid Agile/Scrum fundamentals; sprint-based delivery experience.

Communication & Personal Attributes

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication; ability to influence testing approach across teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive quality culture and work effectively across horizontally and vertically aligned teams.
  • Expert-level test estimation, planning, and reporting; strong requirements analysis capability.
