Role Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Software Quality Assurance Analyst, based on-site in Ahmedabad with 4+ years of experience. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in both manual and automated testing, a strong grasp of testing methodologies, and proven experience in driving quality throughout the SDLC.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web, mobile, and API-based applications.
• Perform manual and automated testing to validate functionality, performance, and scalability.
• Identify, document, and track bugs, defects, and performance issues using tools like Jira, Bugzilla, or Trello.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts to refine requirements and define test scenarios.
• Perform different type of testing (regression, API, etc.)
• Ensure compliance with software development and testing standards.
• Analyze test results and provide detailed reports with actionable insights.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 4+ years of professional experience in software testing.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC and STLC.
• Hands-on expertise in manual testing, test automation and API testing.
• Proficiency in SQL queries for database validation.
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in mobile application testing.
• Relevant certifications in Quality Assurance are a plus.
