Job Title: Automation QA Engineer (Java)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automation QA Engineer with strong expertise in Java, Selenium, and CI/CD tools. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in building and maintaining robust automation frameworks, integrating with CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, and Maven
• Perform API testing using tools like REST Assured and Postman
• Integrate test automation with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools
• Collaborate with developers, QA team, and DevOps to ensure seamless test execution and reporting
• Write and execute test cases, analyze results, and report defects using tools like JIRA
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives
• Ensure cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility testing
• Continuously improve test coverage and automation efficiency.

Required Skills:

• Strong programming skills in Java
• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, TestNG/JUnit, and Maven
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, and Bitbucket
• Good understanding of BDD frameworks like Cucumber
• Experience in API testing using REST Assured
• Familiarity with SQL and database validation
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• ISTQB or equivalent QA certification
• Experience with cloud-based testing platforms
• Exposure to performance testing tools like JMeter is a plus
