🛠 Role Overview – QA Manual Tester

Location: Health tech environment (India)
Experience: 2–4 years (manual QA for web + mobile)
Focus: Manual testing of Orange Health’s digital products, ensuring high-quality, compliant solutions in the healthcare domain.


🎯 Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze business & product requirements → design test strategies.
  • Create, maintain & execute detailed manual test cases.
  • Conduct functional, regression, UI/UX, smoke, and exploratory testing.
  • Validate REST APIs & backend services (Postman).
  • Log detailed, reproducible bug reports; collaborate with devs for resolution.
  • Participate in sprint planning, releases, and QA process improvements.
  • Contribute to test documentation, reporting, metrics, and coverage tracking.

✅ Required Skills

  • 2–4 years of manual testing (web + mobile apps).
  • Strong knowledge of software testing concepts, STLC, defect management.
  • Hands-on REST API testing (Postman or similar).
  • Familiarity with JIRA, TestRail (or similar test management tools).
  • Good knowledge of test case design techniques & ensuring coverage.
  • Basic SQL skills for backend validation.
  • Agile/Scrum experience.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and attention to detail.

👉 This role is a mid-level manual QA tester position (2–4 yrs) with exposure to web, mobile, and API testing in a regulated healthcare tech environment. The focus is manual testing (not automation-heavy like the other roles we reviewed).
