Job Overview

A skilled QA Automation Engineer is needed to ensure the quality and performance of web applications by designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using Playwright and Selenium. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts leveraging Playwright and Selenium.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams for comprehensive test coverage.
  • Integrate automated tests within CI/CD pipelines for streamlined continuous deployment.
  • Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing targeting web applications.
  • Identify, log, track, and facilitate resolution of software defects.

Must-Have Skills and Competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on QA automation experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise with Playwright and Selenium automation tools.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages: JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, or C#.
  • Experience using testing frameworks like Jest, Mocha, JUnit, or PyTest.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI.
  • Strong understanding of web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
  • Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective team collaboration.

  • Experience in performance and load testing frameworks/tools.
  • Knowledge of other test automation frameworks or languages.
