Job Overview
HealthAsyst®, a leader in healthcare IT services and product development, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Manual QA Engineer with 3–5 years of experience in software testing. As a QA professional, you will ensure high-quality delivery across our healthcare software solutions by designing and executing robust manual testing strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain manual test cases based on product requirements and functional specifications.

Conduct comprehensive functional, regression, integration, and usability testing.

Track and manage defects using bug-tracking tools such as JIRA, ensuring proper documentation and resolution.

Validate data using SQL queries and backend checks.

Create and maintain detailed test documentation including test plans, test cases, and test summary reports.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, product owners, business analysts) to ensure clear understanding of requirements and to promote quality from the start.

Work within Agile/Scrum environments to deliver high-quality software in iterative cycles.

Optional: Perform basic API testing using tools like Postman (preferred but not mandatory).

Bonus: Apply domain knowledge of US healthcare IT (preferred).
Required Skills & Qualifications

3–5 years of hands-on experience in manual testing for enterprise or healthcare applications.

Proficient in writing clear and detailed test cases and defect reports.

Solid understanding of SQL for data validation and backend testing.

Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working within sprint-based delivery models.

Good to have: Basic knowledge of API testing using Postman or equivalent tools.

Experience working with bug tracking tools such as Jira.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong collaborative abilities.
Preferred (Nice-to-Have)

Experience or exposure to US healthcare industry workflows or compliance requirements (e.g., HIPAA).

Experience in validating healthcare applications, EHR/EMR systems, or related domains.
