We are looking for a Senior Quality Engineer to join our Agile, cross-functional engineering team. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in building and maintaining quality throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)—helping us deliver healthcare solutions that make a real difference to patients, providers, and partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct exploratory, functional, and regression testing for web applications
  • Perform root cause analysis of bugs and write clear, concise defect reports
  • Collaborate across Agile teams to plan and execute testing activities from requirements to delivery
  • Author test cases based on user stories and business requirements
  • Design and write automated test scripts using a C#-based framework for REST APIs
  • Work closely with engineering and support teams to identify, triage, and resolve software defects
  • Use SQL for test validation and data verification
  • Participate in CI/CD workflows using tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions

Required Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience

Skills and Experience:

  • 4+ years of overall professional experience in QA or software engineering
  • 2+ years of experience in software testing (test planning, execution, and bug reporting)
  • 2+ years of experience in automating tests for web-based applications and APIs
  • 2+ years working in Agile/Scrum development teams
  • Strong coding skills in at least one high-level language (C# preferred; Java, Python also considered)
  • Proficiency in SQL for database validation
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
  • Experience with front-end and back-end testing approaches
  • Experience in healthcare IT or regulated software environments is a plus

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience testing healthcare or medical applications
  • Understanding of HL7, FHIR, or other health data standards
  • Exposure to test management tools and automated test reporting systems
