Software Test Engineer (Manual & Automation)

We are looking for a highly motivated Software Test Engineer with around 4+ years of hands-on experience in manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of web/desktop/mobile applications through structured testing methodologies and automation frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand product requirements and design test plans and test cases accordingly.
• Perform manual and automated testing of web applications.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to identify and resolve defects.
• Create and maintain test documentation, including test cases, test scripts, and test reports.
• Design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks using tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar.
• Execute regression, integration, system, smoke, and performance testing.
• Raise and track bugs in tools like JIRA
• Participate in agile development processes including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and tools.
  

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in software testing (manual and automation).
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and testing methodologies.
• Hands-on experience in test automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cypress, or Appium.
• Proficient in scripting languages like JavaScript or Python.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured).
• Good communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  

Nice to Have:

• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• ISTQB or other relevant certification.
