Position:Testing Engineer

Job Description

• Interact with Business Analysis and Development teams to develop a strong understanding of the project and testing objectives
• Responsible for Web-based testing for high-traffic, high-recognition client websites
• Responsible for handling complex quality assurance and test environment problems and issues
• Responsible for creation and execution of test scripts and test data for module/integration/system testing.
• Participate in troubleshooting and triggering of issues with different teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution

Requirements

• Good analytical and logical skills to be able to think through the new application and strategise testing
• Relevant work experience in manual testing of Web applications.
• Demonstrated knowledge of automated testing using Selenium or an alternate automation tool (Mabl)
• Good understanding of Web and Mobile based projects
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proven ability to manage and prioritise multiple, diverse projects simultaneously
• Ideally have experience with Linux environment

Technical skills:

• Manual Testing, API Testing, Functional Testing, Web Testing, Mobile Testing

Basic Qualifications:

• Any Engineering graduate or post graduate with 2-6 relevant work experience.
