Senior Software Test Engineer

About the job

Key Responsibilities

· Design, execute, and maintain manual test cases for web and mobile applications.

· Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.

· Identify, document, and track defects using tools like Jira/ADO.

· Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery.

· Participate in test planning, estimation, and reporting.

· Provide input for test automation strategy and assist in basic automation tasks when needed.

Required Skills

· 4–6 years of experience in Manual QA.

· Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and QA methodologies.

· Hands-on experience with test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).

· Ability to write clear and concise test cases and bug reports.

· Familiarity with SQL for data validation.

· Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have

· Basic knowledge of test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright).

· Experience in HR Tech domain or similar enterprise applications.

· Exposure to API testing using tools like Postman.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
