OP is partnering with a globally renowned leader in media, entertainment, and consumer experiences to hire a technically proficient and strategically minded Senior QA Engineer (Data &AI). This role is pivotal in ensuring the quality and reliability of complex systems powering large-scale digital content, user experiences, and consumer-facing products.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build robust testing frameworks, drive automation, and champion quality across the software development lifecycle. The role emphasizes testing intelligent, data-driven systems and requires a strong understanding of model validation and adaptive system behaviors.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement comprehensive test strategies for systems incorporating predictive or adaptive logic.
• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and tools to support continuous integration and delivery.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and data specialists to embed quality from ideation through deployment.
• Conduct exploratory testing and risk analysis for complex, data-intensive systems.
• Monitor and report on quality metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
• Advocate for best practices in software quality engineering, including test-driven development, shift-left testing, and validation of non-deterministic behaviours.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and testing approaches, especially those relevant to intelligent or learning-based systems.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field—or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as a software engineer.
• Proven experience in software quality engineering, particularly with systems that evolve based on data or user interaction.
• Strong understanding of model validation, data integrity, and performance benchmarking.
• Proficiency in test automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript).
• Familiarity with testing frameworks and libraries used in data-driven or statistical computing environments.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive and detail-oriented mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Expertise in AI/ML testing methodologies, including model validation, bias detection, and performance evaluation.
• Familiarity with AI testing tools and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow Model Analysis, MLflow, PyTest).
• Knowledge of service standards and technologies, including RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Experience with tools such as Git, Jira, Jenkins, GitHub Actions.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and risk management strategies.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
• Equivalent professional experience may be considered.

  • Proactively communicate progress, surface risks, and seek feedback when needed.
  • Contribute meaningfully to broader engineering and product objectives.
