Job Summary:
Telna is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to lead and mentor a QA team, drive automation efforts, and ensure quality at every step of the SDLC. The role involves both strategic leadership and hands-on QA execution, including UI and API test automation, exploratory testing, and performance validation.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor a QA engineering team, promoting quality ownership and continuous improvement

Design, develop, and maintain automated tests for both UI and API layers

Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps on test strategies

Conduct exploratory, manual, and regression testing when needed

Own and manage quality gates for product releases
-
Analyze test results, debug issues, and ensure defects are resolved

Maintain strong test coverage across functional and non-functional areas, including scalability and performance
Required Skills & Experience:

6–10 years of experience in software QA (manual and automation)

Strong experience in API testing with:

Karate Framework
-
Postman & Newman CLI
-
Proficiency in UI automation with Playwright

Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments

Hands-on with CI/CD pipelines

Deep understanding of testing principles, patterns, and methodologies

Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills

Leadership ability in technical and collaborative settings
Nice to Have:

Experience with performance testing and monitoring tools

Telecom domain knowledge (e.g., cellular connectivity, roaming)
