Job Overview
Join a fast-paced, agile QA environment as a ServiceNow Tester. This role requires a solid background in both manual and automated testing on the ServiceNow platform, with a strong grasp of scripting and testing lifecycle best practices. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery, stability, and quality of ServiceNow implementations.
Key Responsibilities

Design and implement automated test cases using ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF).

Create and manage reusable test steps and test suites across key ServiceNow modules.

Execute functional, regression, and integration testing for platform releases.

Conduct manual testing for new features, bug fixes, enhancements, and UAT.

Debug and resolve issues quickly within automation or platform-related components.

Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and stakeholders to identify relevant test cases.

Maintain clear and comprehensive test documentation, including test cases and results.

Log, track, and verify defects using tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or ServiceNow Test Management.

Assist in validating user requirements and business needs through structured testing.
Required Skills and Experience

4–6 years of total experience in QA, with significant time in ServiceNow testing.

Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow ATF and test suite development.

Proficient in ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript – both client and server side).

Working knowledge of core ServiceNow modules: Incident, Change, Request, CMDB.

Solid understanding of QA methodologies, test design techniques, and SDLC.

Familiar with Agile & Scrum practices; experience participating in sprints.

Proficient in manual test creation, execution, and defect management.

Experience with tools like JIRA, TestRail, or equivalent test management platforms.

Strong debugging, analytical, and documentation skills.

Clear and effective verbal and written communication.
