Role Overview
We are seeking a Manual QA Engineer with strong automation and performance testing capabilities. This is a hands-on role ideal for professionals with at least 5 years of QA experience, including 2+ years of working with Selenium and JMeter. The role will require a detail-oriented mindset, a passion for quality, and the ability to work collaboratively across product, business, and development teams.
You’ll work on web and mobile-based applications and contribute to improving product quality through manual, automated, and performance testing.
Key Responsibilities

Design and develop test automation scripts following defined automation guidelines.

Conduct manual testing, focusing on user experience, edge cases, and non-scriptable scenarios.

Create and maintain test documentation, including test cases, steps, evaluations, and issue reports.

Execute performance testing using JMeter and analyze results.

Develop and maintain Selenium automation scripts in Java or similar languages.

Manage defect tracking tools; log issues and coordinate with development teams for resolution.

Work closely with developers, QA peers, and product owners to identify and resolve issues.

Recommend process and tool improvements to optimize QA workflows.

Ensure timely and accurate testing outcomes throughout the SDLC.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

5+ years of QA experience testing web and mobile applications.

Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with JMeter and Selenium.

Proficiency in writing test scripts using Java or equivalent.

Strong grasp of manual testing practices, test planning, execution, and reporting.

Familiarity with bug tracking and service desk tools.

Excellent communication, documentation, and analytical skills.

Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
