Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated QA Automation Engineer to join our growing QA team. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead the development and maintenance of multiple automation frameworks across functional, performance, API, and mobile testing. If you are passionate about test automation, adept with tools like Selenium, RESTAssured, JMeter, and Appium, and have a strong grasp of Java or Python, this is the perfect role for you.
You will play a pivotal role in driving automation excellence, aligning with software development requirements, and integrating QA best practices into our CI/CD pipeline. This is a remote-friendly opportunity based out of Gurgaon.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and enhance automation frameworks across functional, performance, API, and mobile testing domains.

Collaborate with developers and business teams to understand project requirements and translate them into detailed test plans.

Guide and mentor QA team members in implementing automation best practices.

Allocate tasks based on team strengths and monitor testing progress and outcomes.

Ensure automation test suites are stable, scalable, and seamlessly integrated with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins).

Track and report bugs using tools like JIRA and support manual testing efforts when required.
Required Skills and Qualifications

4+ years of hands-on experience in test automation using Selenium with Java or Python.

Strong experience in API automation using RESTAssured.

Proficient in performance testing using JMeter.

Skilled in mobile test automation using Appium.

Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Bug Life Cycle (BLC).

Strong knowledge of CI/CD integration using Jenkins or similar tools.

Working knowledge of SQL, MySQL, and MongoDB for database testing.

Experience in both manual and automated testing of client-server and GUI-based applications.
Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Computer Applications (BCA/MCA) or related field.

Prior experience in building automation frameworks from scratch.
