As part of our continued growth, we’re seeking a proactive and experienced Quality Assurance Team Lead to oversee a team of auditors and drive excellence across file auditing processes. As a QA Team Lead, you'll play a pivotal role in improving operational efficiency, maintaining compliance with healthcare standards (CMS, NCQA), and elevating the overall performance of our credentialing file audits.
Key Responsibilities
👥 People Leadership

Lead and manage a team of Quality Auditors, overseeing performance, development, and career growth.

Conduct weekly 1:1s, performance reviews, and daily standups to ensure accountability, alignment, and continuous improvement.

Provide coaching, mentoring, and feedback, with a focus on improving file quality, individual productivity, and team morale.

Partner with HR and hiring managers to participate in the onboarding, training, and hiring of new team members.
📊 Production Management

Oversee daily operations of a QA pod responsible for auditing credentialing files for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.

Ensure timely delivery of work in accordance with SLAs, while maintaining exceptional quality standards.

Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to speed and accuracy, and implement data-driven strategies to optimize team output.

Serve as the liaison between the QA team and other internal departments (Credentialing, Compliance, Operations) to resolve audit-related challenges.
🔍 Process & Performance Optimization

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to refine audit workflows, SOPs, and quality frameworks.

Analyze quality trends, root causes of errors, and suggest corrective actions to elevate compliance and consistency.

Drive initiatives to automate, scale, and streamline quality assurance processes for growing file volumes.

Develop, maintain, and enforce training materials and process documentation.
