Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer who can take complete ownership of the QA lifecycle—from requirement analysis to release. The ideal candidate should have strong automation experience, multi-project handling capability, and confidence in client interactions.Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end QA lifecycle (requirement analysis → test planning → execution → release sign-off)
- Handle multiple projects simultaneously (2–3 or more) with proper planning and tracking
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright
- Perform UI, API, and regression testing to ensure high product quality
- Work closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders for smooth delivery
- Participate in release decisions (go/no-go) based on quality metrics and risk analysis
- Identify, track, and report defects; ensure minimal leakage to production
- Execute automation suites via CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitHub Actions)
- Communicate directly with clients (calls, demos, handling escalations)
- Mentor junior QA team members and review their work
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience in Playwright
- Experience in automation framework development (POM, modular structure, reusable components)
- Solid understanding of API testing using tools like Postman / REST Assured
- Experience with UI, API, and regression testing
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions
- Proficiency in at least one programming language: JavaScript / TypeScript / Java / Python
- Experience handling client communication and escalations
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
