Role Overview

We are looking for a QA Engineer who will ensure that every Nirabalance experience — from API to iPhone app meets the highest standards of reliability, performance, and usability.

You’ll test across React web, Android, and iOS platforms, as well as the underlying APIs that power them, ensuring seamless experiences for our clients.

You’ll collaborate closely with developers, designers, and product managers to proactively identify issues, automate repetitive checks, and refine our quality processes as we scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute test plans for web, mobile, and API components.

• Develop and maintain automated test suites (API, UI, regression).

• Conduct detailed usability and UX validation, especially for iOS users.

• Identify, log, and track issues through the full lifecycle with clarity and context.

• Partner with engineers to integrate testing in CI/CD pipelines.

• Validate edge cases and scenarios typical for users on performance, device diversity, and responsiveness.

• Participate in sprint planning and contribute to defining “done” from a quality perspective.

• Continuously evolve QA frameworks, tools, and test coverage for speed and reliability.

What You’ll Bring

• 2–6 years of hands-on QA experience across web and mobile platforms.

• Proficiency in manual testing, API testing (Postman, REST, GraphQL), and test automation (Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium).

• Experience testing React-based web apps and native mobile apps (Android & iOS).

• Familiarity with Appium, Detox, or similar tools for mobile automation.

• Strong understanding of SDLC, CI/CD, and bug tracking systems (Jira, Linear, etc.).

• Eye for detail and empathy for end-users especially where UX meets precision.

• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with performance testing (e.g., k6, JMeter).

• Exposure to analytics validation (Mixpanel, Segment, etc.).

• Familiarity with security and compliance testing for sensitive data flows.
