Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts.
  • Perform functional, regression, exploratory, usability, and automated testing for web & mobile applications.
  • Debug and troubleshoot issues; collaborate with developers for timely resolutions.
  • Use JIRA or similar tools for defect management.
  • Participate in end-to-end SDLC including requirement analysis, testing, and release validation.
  • Communicate effectively with U.S.-based clients for progress updates and alignment.
  • Provide detailed test reports and QA metrics to stakeholders.
  • Continuously improve QA workflows, increase automation coverage, and adopt new methods/tools.

Requirements (Must-Have Skills)

  • Manual Testing: Functional, regression, exploratory, usability testing experience.
  • Automation Tools: Selenium, Appium, Cucumber, or equivalent.
  • API Testing: REST Assured, Postman, JMeter, or similar.
  • Defect Tracking: JIRA or equivalent.
  • Test Documentation Skills: Writing detailed test cases, plans, and reports.
  • OS Knowledge: Linux & Windows.
  • Basic SQL database validation.
  • Version Control: Git, GitHub, Bitbucket.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related.
  • 2–3 years of QA experience with automation focus.
  • Ability to collaborate with U.S.-based teams and adjust to time zone overlaps.
