Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts.
- Perform functional, regression, exploratory, usability, and automated testing for web & mobile applications.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues; collaborate with developers for timely resolutions.
- Use JIRA or similar tools for defect management.
- Participate in end-to-end SDLC including requirement analysis, testing, and release validation.
- Communicate effectively with U.S.-based clients for progress updates and alignment.
- Provide detailed test reports and QA metrics to stakeholders.
- Continuously improve QA workflows, increase automation coverage, and adopt new methods/tools.
Requirements (Must-Have Skills)
- Manual Testing: Functional, regression, exploratory, usability testing experience.
- Automation Tools: Selenium, Appium, Cucumber, or equivalent.
- API Testing: REST Assured, Postman, JMeter, or similar.
- Defect Tracking: JIRA or equivalent.
- Test Documentation Skills: Writing detailed test cases, plans, and reports.
- OS Knowledge: Linux & Windows.
- Basic SQL database validation.
- Version Control: Git, GitHub, Bitbucket.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related.
- 2–3 years of QA experience with automation focus.
- Ability to collaborate with U.S.-based teams and adjust to time zone overlaps.
