Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with team members to fully understand acceptance criteria for all features.
- Write, execute, and maintain manual test scenarios using a BDD format.
- Identify, document, and escalate defects found in web and mobile products.
- Collaborate with QA Automation Engineers on automation scripting in BDD.
- Participate in release verification and team Agile ceremonies.
- Self-organize, manage workload independently, and contribute to team quality processes.
- Update and maintain team wiki and process documentation.
- Help improve and refine team quality standards and testing processes.
Must-Have Skills and Competencies
- Computer Science degree or 1–4 years of QA Analyst/Engineer experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to write and execute manual test cases, ideally in BDD format (Gherkin/Cucumber style).
- Understanding of Agile development practices and comfort with ceremonies (stand-ups, retros, sprint planning).
- Experience in web and mobile application testing.
- Skill in defect tracking and test case management software (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Strong teamwork and willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have
- Prior experience with Hybris or other e-commerce platforms.
- Experience supporting automation efforts or scripting in a BDD format.
- Previous exposure to release management and verification cross-teams.
How to Prepare for the Interview
- Practice writing manual test scenarios and documenting defects clearly, especially using BDD syntax (Given/When/Then).
- Brush up on Agile methodologies, ceremonies, and how QA fits into fast iterations.
- Review web and mobile testing techniques: exploratory, functional/regression, cross-browser/device testing.
- Prepare to discuss defect tracking, escalation process, and QA collaboration with development/product teams.
- Be ready to give examples demonstrating self-motivation, adaptability, and effective communication.
How to Prepare the Resume
