We’re looking for our first dedicated QA Engineer—someone who is ready to take full ownership of our product’s quality and grow with a product-led startup. In this role, you’ll be responsible for both manual testing and automation using Playwright, working directly with developers, designers, and the founding team to ensure our user experience is seamless, stable, and high-performing.
Key Responsibilities

Take full ownership of QA processes, from test planning to release readiness reporting.

Design and execute manual test cases for new features and regression cycles.

Build and maintain automated end-to-end tests using Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript).

Collaborate closely with developers and product designers to identify issues early and improve overall test coverage.

Manage lightweight bug tracking through GitHub and maintain test documentation in Notion or Excel.

Provide daily insights into product stability, usability, and readiness for release.

Contribute to shaping QA strategy, best practices, and tools as the company scales.
Required Qualifications

2–3 years of experience in QA engineering with a solid balance of manual and automated testing.

Hands-on experience with Playwright (JavaScript or TypeScript preferred).

Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and Vanilla JavaScript—especially DOM manipulation and event handling.

Comfortable working autonomously in a startup environment with changing priorities.

Proficiency with GitHub for issue tracking and awareness of basic CI/CD workflows.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Nice to Have

Experience using browser developer tools for debugging.

Exposure to API testing tools like Postman or REST Assured.

Familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools (Excel Online, Teams).
