Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Analyst I/II to join our IT Quality Assurance team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and functionality of IT products through meticulous manual and automated testing. You will contribute to the full software testing lifecycle—from planning and execution to defect tracking and reporting—while collaborating closely with development and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
✅ Test Planning & Execution

Design and develop detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on functional requirements and technical specifications.

Conduct manual and automated testing across different platforms and application layers.

Document test results and track software defects to ensure resolution before release.
✅ Defect Tracking & Resolution

Identify, log, and track software defects with detailed documentation.

Work closely with developers to reproduce, diagnose, and resolve issues.

Validate fixes and regression test to ensure defect resolution.
✅ Requirements Analysis

Review business and technical requirements for clarity, completeness, and testability.

Participate in requirements reviews and design walkthroughs, providing feedback to ensure test coverage.
✅ Test Automation

Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts and frameworks, where applicable.

Analyze automated test results to identify quality risks or application inconsistencies.
✅ Documentation & Reporting

Maintain thorough documentation including test plans, test cases, and defect reports.

Prepare test summary reports and communicate findings to project stakeholders.

Ensure alignment of testing efforts with project timelines and deliverables.
✅ Continuous Improvement

Identify opportunities for process improvements in QA methodology and tooling.

Stay current with industry trends and testing best practices.

Offer suggestions to improve testing strategies and QA workflows.

Work closely with developers, product managers, and IT teams to align on quality standards and testing goals.

Participate in team meetings and project planning sessions.

May mentor and guide junior QA analysts, providing feedback and knowledge sharing.
Qualifications:
Education & Certification

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

ISTQB Foundation Level Certification or equivalent is preferred but not required.
Experience

2–4 years of hands-on experience in software testing or quality assurance roles.

Solid experience in both manual testing and some exposure to test automation tools and frameworks.
Skills

Strong knowledge of software testing principles, SDLC, and QA methodologies.

Proficiency in using testing tools, scripting, and defect tracking systems.

Experience with test automation (Selenium or similar) is a plus.

Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.

Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
