About the job

We are looking for a QA leader who will own end-to-end product quality at Muvi.

You will lead a team of 30+ QA engineers (manual + automation) and build a strong quality culture across the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Own quality across all Muvi products (Web, Mobile, APIs, platform)
  • Lead and grow a team of 30+ QA engineers
  • Define and execute the overall QA and automation strategy
  • Explore use of AI in testing (test generation, visual testing, etc.)
  • Drive automation across UI, API, and mobile (Android & iOS)
  • Integrate testing deeply into CI/CD pipelines for faster and safer releases
  • Work closely with engineering and product teams to ensure high-quality releases
  • Reduce production issues and improve release confidence
  • Build and maintain scalable automation frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, Appium, etc.)
  • Define test coverage, regression strategy, and release readiness criteria
  • Introduce modern practices like shift-left testing and continuous testing

Requirements:

  • 8+ years in QA, including 4+ years in automation
  • 3+ years managing QA teams at scale
  • Experience with performance testing and security testing
  • Exposure to AI-driven testing tools
  • Strong experience in building automation frameworks for web and mobile apps
  • Good understanding of APIs, microservices, and backend systems
  • Hands-on experience with modern automation tools (Selenium, Playwright, Appium, etc.)
  • Strong programming skills (Java, JavaScript, Python, or similar)
  • Experience integrating QA into CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong understanding of test strategy, test coverage, and release processes
  • Ability to think beyond testing and own product quality
  • Good communication and leadership skills
