Job Description We’re looking for a QA Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automation solutions for web and API applications. In this role, you’ll build scalable automation frameworks, convert manual test cases into automated scenarios, and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure stable, high-quality releases.

Key Skills

  • 1–7 years of experience in QA automation.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and/or Java.
  • Hands-on experience with Playwright and Selenium WebDriver.
  • Experience with automation frameworks such as Pytest, TestNG, JUnit, or Cucumber (BDD).
  • Experience in API automation using Postman or RestAssured.
  • Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git.
  • Familiarity with build tools such as Maven or Gradle.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable automation frameworks using Python or Java.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts for UI and API testing using Playwright and Selenium.
  • Convert manual test cases into automated test scenarios.
  • Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Troubleshoot automation failures, perform root cause analysis, and log defects.
  • Execute regression, smoke, and sanity testing during release cycles.
  • Ensure automation code follows best practices for reusability and scalability.
  • Collaborate with developers, QA teams, and product owners in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Maintain version control and branching strategies using Git.
  • Drive improvements in test coverage and execution efficiency.
