Job Overview
PairSoft is hiring a QA Automation Engineer with hands-on experience in Playwright, Cypress, and other key automation tools. You will be an integral part of the quality assurance team, responsible for creating and executing automation test scripts, validating web applications, APIs, and ensuring high-quality delivery in a fast-paced environment.
This role will involve working closely with product owners, developers, and QA engineers across time zones to support the end-to-end testing lifecycle—from planning to deployment validation.
Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with Product Owners, PMs, Developers, and QA teams to understand testing objectives.

Design, create, and execute test scripts and scenarios based on business and technical requirements.

Develop automation strategies and implement them using Playwright, Cypress, and Selenium.

Perform automated and manual validation of UI and APIs.

Execute test cycles, troubleshoot issues, and analyze automation test results.

Participate in production deployment testing during off-hours when required.

Maintain proper documentation of test plans, execution logs, and issues.
Technical Skills Required
Must-Have Skills:

Strong scripting and automation experience using TypeScript or JavaScript.

Solid understanding of Playwright and Cypress testing frameworks.

Experience with API testing tools like Postman.

Familiarity with Appium for mobile testing.

Exposure to performance testing tools like JMeter.

Strong SQL skills, preferably with SQL Server.

Proficiency in object-oriented programming concepts.
Good to Have:

Scripting experience in Java or C#.

Experience with testing libraries like Mockito, Moq, JUnit, or NUnit.

Exposure to modern frontend frameworks and basic prompt engineering.

Prior work experience in a Microsoft ecosystem is a plus.
