Job Overview:
We are looking for a highly experienced and strategic QA Architect to lead and evolve our enterprise-level Quality Assurance practices. This is a key leadership role responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable and efficient QA frameworks and processes across complex, cloud-native systems. As a QA Architect, you will collaborate with senior stakeholders, lead cross-functional testing teams, and drive innovation in automation, performance, and API testing within regulated domains like Telecom, Finance, or Healthcare.
This is a hybrid role based in Bangalore, offering both remote flexibility and in-office collaboration, tailored to your working preferences and project needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Architect and implement QA strategies, ensuring product quality, reliability, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Lead test design, framework architecture, and development using Java or Python with Selenium and other tools.

Oversee API automation, ensuring smooth input/output flow across APIs (REST, SOAP).

Drive CI/CD integration of automated test scripts using cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Guide QA teams in adopting test frameworks and technologies including TestNG, JMeter, Postman, and REST-assured.

Mentor team members and enable them to design, implement, and execute automated and manual test strategies.

Manage performance testing and ensure application stability using JMeter or LoadRunner (desired).

Evaluate and select tools for test automation, performance testing, and defect tracking.

Define test plans and test coverage for microservices-based, containerized (Docker/Kubernetes), or virtualized environments.

Analyze performance metrics and quality trends; define corrective actions and improvement plans.

Conduct quality audits, gap analyses, and continuous process improvements.

Participate in Agile/Scrum and SAFe development processes, leading QA contributions to program-level execution.

Perform risk assessment and ensure mitigation strategies are defined and executed.

Actively participate in code reviews, release planning, and strategic testing decisions.
Must-Have Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

10+ years in QA, including 3–5 years in a QA Architect or Test Automation Lead role.

Deep understanding of automation frameworks, test design patterns (e.g., POM, BDD, data-driven).

Advanced knowledge of one or more programming languages: Java, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, C#.

Strong hands-on experience with:

Selenium, TestNG

REST API testing: Postman, REST-assured, or Karate

Performance testing: JMeter, LoadRunner (desired)

CI/CD pipelines and test automation integration

Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP

Containerization & microservices: Docker, Kubernetes

Solid experience in database validation, SQL queries, and test data preparation.

Familiarity with regulated domains and compliance frameworks (e.g., telecom, healthcare, BFSI).

Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, test management, and reporting best practices.
Certifications (Preferred but not mandatory):

ISTQB Advanced Test Manager or Test Architect
