Key Responsibilities

• Drive quality efforts across engineering and product teams.
• Design, plan, and execute manual tests for web-based frontend and API components.
• Identify, document, and track defects and usability issues.
• Collaborate with engineers and business analysts to understand system requirements and ensure they are tested thoroughly.
• Participate in sprint planning and proactively contribute to testing strategy discussions.
• Evaluate and adopt new tools or testing methodologies to continuously improve QA practices.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in manual testing for web and API applications.
• Deep understanding of testing methodologies and defect tracking.
• Strong sense of ownership and pride in delivering high-quality work.
• Passion for improving the customer experience through quality engineering.
• Proven ability to work independently in a remote team setup (India-based).

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Prior experience at a startup or in a fast-paced tech environment.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience collaborating across multiple teams and taking initiative to fill in the gaps.
• An understanding of test automation, even if not directly responsible for it.
