Job Overview
Med-Metrix is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Analyst to join our remote team. In this role, you will be a key contributor to the testing of complex, highly integrated healthcare software systems developed in a fast-paced Agile environment. You'll be responsible for creating and executing comprehensive test plans, conducting manual and automated testing, and ensuring that products meet client needs and acceptance criteria before release.
This position is ideal for QA professionals who bring hands-on experience with tools like Katalon, AWS, and SQL, and who can operate effectively with minimal supervision. Key Responsibilities

Create detailed and structured test plans and test cases based on requirements and user stories.

Perform manual and automated testing to validate new features and system functionality.

Review and analyze system specifications and engage in story refinement and requirement reviews.

Collaborate with QA Leads and development teams to plan and conduct feature-level integration testing.

Track, document, and manage defects and testing outcomes using QA tools.

Ensure all acceptance criteria and Definition of Done requirements are met prior to release.

Communicate test results and quality metrics clearly with cross-functional teams.

Provide input in Agile retrospectives and advocate for continuous improvement.

Escalate issues and blockers to the project team in a timely manner.

Maintain test documentation and contribute to QA process enhancements.
Required Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of QA experience in software testing or a similar role.

Solid understanding of QA methodologies, test case creation, and defect management.

Hands-on experience with Katalon automation, AWS, and SQL.

Experience with Agile software development and project management tools.

Ability to document issues clearly and troubleshoot system and database errors.

Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to convey complex ideas clearly.

Capable of independent work, decision-making, and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Must have a secure, private work-from-home setup in line with Med-Metrix standards.
