Playwright Automation Tester (Immediate Joiner Only)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and self-driven Playwright Automation Tester with 3–5 years of experience in test automation. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Playwright (including MCP integration), proven experience in building automation frameworks from scratch, and solid knowledge of CI/CD pipeline integration.

This role requires a proactive professional who can independently design, develop, and maintain scalable automation solutions while collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust UI automation frameworks using Playwright
• Build automation frameworks from scratch with scalability, reusability, and maintainability in mind
• Implement and manage MCP (Model Context Protocol) or similar integrations within Playwright
• Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI)
• Develop and execute automated test scripts for web applications
• Perform cross-browser and cross-platform testing
• Collaborate with developers, QA teams, and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure quality delivery
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and provide detailed reports
• Maintain test documentation, standards, and best practices
• Continuously improve automation processes and frameworks

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in test automation
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright
• Experience working with MCP or similar advanced integrations
• Proficiency in at least one or more programming languages:
• JavaScript
• TypeScript
• Python
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools
• Experience in developing independent/custom automation frameworks
• Strong knowledge of test design techniques and QA methodologies
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with Java/Selenium or other automation tools (e.g., Cypress, TestNG, Cucumber)
• Experience with API testing and automation
• Familiarity with containerization tools (Docker) is a plus
• Exposure to performance or security testing is an advantage
