Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Manual Test Engineer with 3–5 years of hands-on experience in manual software testing, test case design, and defect reporting. This role is ideal for QA professionals who are passionate about product quality, have excellent analytical and communication skills, and are open to working flexible shifts aligned with US or UK time zones. Candidates holding an ISTQB Certification will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze project requirements and create test scenarios and detailed test cases based on acceptance criteria.

Execute manual test cases and document test results clearly and effectively.

Track, report, and manage defects throughout the defect life cycle.

Provide daily and weekly test status reports, ensuring transparency and accuracy.

Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and QA leads to understand requirements and resolve defects.

Apply strong understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and best testing practices.
Required Qualifications

3 to 5 years of relevant experience in manual testing.

Proficiency in writing test scenarios and test cases from functional requirements.

Sound knowledge of STLC and defect tracking processes.

Experience in test execution, bug reporting, and using standard QA documentation tools.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team structure.
Preferred Qualifications

ISTQB Certification (Foundation level or higher) is a strong advantage.

Prior experience working in US/UK shifts.
