Role Overview
We're looking for a Web Tester Intern with a keen eye for detail and a solid grasp of web and API testing fundamentals. You'll manually test UI components and backend endpoints, explore edge cases using user session data, and contribute to making our products more robust and user-friendly. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about breaking things (in a good way!) and learning in a live product environment.
Key Responsibilities

Test web UI components and backend APIs for accuracy, bugs, and performance issues.

Use Postman and cURL to verify API responses, edge cases, and failures.

Review user sessions via Microsoft Clarity or PostHog to uncover UX gaps and anomalies.

Write clear, reusable test cases, bug reports, and QA documentation.

Conduct functional, regression, and cross-browser compatibility testing.

Collaborate with developers to validate and track bug fixes.

Participate in security testing (e.g., SQL injection, code injection, basic penetration testing).
Must-Have Skills

Solid understanding of web applications and REST APIs.

Comfort using cURL and Postman for manual API testing.

Strong attention to UI/UX behavior and consistency across browsers.

Analytical thinking and ability to spot issues through session analysis.
Nice-to-Have Skills

Experience with Microsoft Clarity or PostHog.

Basic knowledge of Linux CLI, version control (Git), or test case documentation.

Familiarity with automated or visual regression testing tools (optional).
