Job Description
As the Manager of QA & QC, you will be responsible for independently managing the Quality Assurance and Quality Control department within our fabrication industry. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Quality Management: Oversee the entire QA & QC process, ensuring that all fabrication projects meet the stringent quality standards as per the ASME code and U Stamp requirements.
- Compliance: Ensure that all systems are manufactured in accordance with the approved Quality Assurance Plan and ISO documentation requirements.
- Project Oversight: Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure that all filtration equipment is designed, manufactured, and tested to meet client specifications and industry standards.
- Inspection & Testing: Lead and conduct inspections and testing of materials, components, and finished products to ensure compliance with the highest quality standards.
- Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed reports and documentation as required by industry standards and customer specifications.
- Client Interaction: Work closely with customers to understand their quality requirements and provide assurance that all products meet their expectations.
- Continuous Improvement: Implement continuous improvement initiatives within the QA & QC department to enhance efficiency, quality, and client satisfaction.
Job Specification
- Education: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
- Experience: 10-15 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control within the fabrication industry, with a strong understanding of ASME codes and U Stamp requirements.
- Skills:
- Extensive knowledge of ASME Section VIII, DIV-1, and Section IX.
- Proficiency in ISO quality management systems and documentation.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Effective communication and client management skills.
- Tools & Certifications: Familiarity with quality management software and tools, certified in relevant quality standards, and proficient in using inspection and testing equipment.
