Java Automation Test Engineer

About the job

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Java Automation Test Engineer to join our innovative team.

In this role, you will drive the quality assurance process by building test automation frameworks, creating scripts, and integrating them with Continuous Integration platforms like Jenkins or Bamboo—all while working in a collaborative Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Test Engineers, ensuring the successful delivery of testing initiatives
• Create automated test scripts for acceptance and integration purposes and connect them with CI pipelines
• Maintain strong organizational and critical thinking capabilities to address testing challenges
• Oversee and manage multiple concurrent test paths effectively
• Define test planning strategies and estimation processes
• Test and verify web applications built with JS, HTML, and CSS
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile projects

Requirements

• 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in Core Java and Selenium
• Knowledge of Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC)
• Expertise in API and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD)
• Qualifications in designing test strategies and test frameworks
• Proficiency in tools and frameworks such as Java, Selenium, Cucumber, JBehave, Soap UI, REST, JSON, and Eclipse IDE
• Understanding of Functional, Usability, Compatibility, Accessibility, Regression, and Requirements testing
• Background in creating testing processes for web applications involving JS, HTML, and CSS
• Familiarity with SQL, XML, JSON, Fiddler, Postman, and HP ALM
• English proficiency at a B2+ level for effective communication

• Knowledge of Jenkins
• Background in API Testing and client-server architecture principles
