We are seeking a skilled Automation Test Engineer with expertise in Selenium to design, develop, and execute automated test scripts. The role involves working closely with developers, QA teams, and business analysts to ensure the quality, stability, and performance of software applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks using Selenium WebDriver.
  • Develop and execute automated test scripts for web and mobile applications.
  • Collaborate with QA, development, and product teams to identify test requirements and scenarios.
  • Perform regression testing and ensure high-quality releases.
  • Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
  • Track, report, and validate defects; contribute to root cause analysis.
  • Maintain test documentation and ensure test cases are up-to-date.
  • Provide recommendations to improve testing efficiency and coverage.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in automation testing with Selenium WebDriver.
  • Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
  • Experience with TestNG, JUnit, or similar testing frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Have)

  • Experience with Selenium Grid and cross-browser testing.
  • Knowledge of API testing tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured).
  • Experience with BDD frameworks like Cucumber.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).
  • Basic understanding of performance testing concepts.
