About the job

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks using Selenium with Java

Create and execute automated test scripts to validate application functionality and performance

Integrate automation scripts with test management tools (e.g. JIRA, HP ALM) and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins)

Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure seamless integration of automation in SDLC

Maintain version control using Git and ensure proper documentation of automation processes

Analyse test results, identify defects, and prepare test metrics

Contribute to continuous improvement of automation processes and best practices

Required Skills & Expertise

Test Automation Tools: Selenium with Java (mandatory)

Programming Languages: Strong expertise in java; working knowledge of Java and other scripting languages

Framework Design: Hands-on experience in designing and developing automation frameworks

Tool Integration: Knowledge of integrating automation tools with HP ALM, JIRA, Jenkins, and Git

Processes: Solid understanding of SDLC (DevOps, Agile, Waterfall), STLC, test automation processes, and test metric

Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills
