Role Summary We are seeking a skilled Automation QA Engineer with strong expertise in Java and Playwright to design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks ensuring high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Java & Playwright.
• Build and enhance test automation frameworks.
• Automate UI, API, and regression test cases.
• Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines.
• Analyze test results, report defects, and work closely with developers for resolution.
• Perform root cause analysis of failures.
• Participate in requirement reviews and test planning.
• Maintain test documentation and reports.
• Support integration, system, and UAT testing activities.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in Java programming.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright automation framework.
• Experience in UI and API automation testing.
• Good understanding of software testing life cycle (STLC).
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, etc.
• Knowledge of version control systems (Git).
• Strong debugging and analytical skills.

• Experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber).
• Knowledge of REST Assured / Postman for API testing.
• Exposure to Docker and cloud platforms.
• Performance testing exposure (JMeter, Gatling).
